It is the first time I see a side airbag between the driver and passenger, looks like it works pretty good. Background music : Morgan Page feat. Lissie - The Longest Road (Deadmau5 Remix)

Why tested in Australia?
@Jason9891334 жыл бұрын
It sells in bigger numbers in Australia than in Europe. You can see the date tested in Australia was August so no point in EuroNCAP redoing the test when it had already been done to the same standards so recently.
@cameronstirling384318 күн бұрын
Yeah AustralasianNCAP is the standard of tests we use not sure what other countries use it but Australia is pretty militant on road saftey. Due to our sizeable mining and commercial industries we manage to purchase 239,000 new "utes" a year of which dmax is 3rd most popular "ute". So car manufacturers release variants to Australia that are often different to those sold elsewhere. Sometimes it's just subtle changes but quite often it's as major as different engine options which obviously could make quite a lot of difference in a test like this. I've also noted the ANCAP tests seem to be at 60kmh (probably our standard speed here) whereas ENCAP is tested at 50kmh other than that our road conditions and Traffic systems are different hence the need for an alternate standard of testing.

This new front crash test does not reflect safety risks with large SUVs. Epic fail...
@ytuberization4 жыл бұрын
@Conqueror44 Totally wrong direction: The new front crash based on a moving vehicle with low weight is an advantage for heavy cars (SUV, sedan whatever). You can see clearly that small cars suffer much more from this new test. But what if a rigid 4-Wheeler crashes into a wall? That’s no longer reflected...

Old D-MAX in 2003-2008 got 1 star and it was made in turkey current car made in japan i think if im wrong correct me sorry but new D-MAX got 5 star im from turkey this car was sold a lot in turkey because it was not safe and cheap in 2008 now in turkey you need to pay for your standards my point is old D-max was made for turkey and not for europe but new D-MAX based on europe that is nice for Isuzu.
