Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of NIO EL6 2024

Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
▶ a frontal impact test where 50% of the width of the car strikes an oncoming deformable barrier, travelling at 50 km/h
▶ a frontal impact test where the car impacts a full-width rigid barrier
▶ a side impact test where a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
▶ a pole test where the car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated
▶ a whiplash test performed on a sled.
A series of pedestrian tests are also conducted with different impactors : adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form. As well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests. In 2023 a test scenario for Cyclist Dooring Prevention was introduced.
Active safety is rated based on the performance of the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders, fatigue, distraction and impairment), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

Great car but the range consumption isn’t great in my opinion, we have an older ES6 and that dud drowned out 20 percent on a maybe 1hr highway drive with an average speed of maybe 130 kmh

Your forgot the main reason they put those on...feul economy....to meet regulations they need those.....speaking from experience....I have a 2020 f150 with those they only close at hwy speeds...so when there's plenty of air to cool a tiny engine like that.....and when it's wayyyyyyyyy below freezing too help keep the engine warmer longer while it's off and to help it warm up faster ...while idling and only while idling...that's it. And of the many issues I've had out of it and all the warranty part replacements I've had done which were many...that hasn't been one of them and I tow a 20 foot box trailer with it a farm every day

hallo i want ask where could i fine the full documents or video of this test? i saw some artikel / test showing this car el6 is better in almost all testing areas better than tesla mold y 2022. i watched the tesla moldy ncap video and cant find same test task there. It should be fair right?
