Euro NCAP Crash Test of Audi A4/A5

The Audi A4 and the A5 are based on the same platform and share much of the structure that is relevant to safety. As the A5 Coupé has two side door instead of four, additional tests have been performed to confirm that the 2015 rating of given to the A4 is valid also for the A5 Coupé and the A5 Sportback. However, the rating does not apply to the A5 Cabriolet as its mass is too much more than that of the A4 on which the original tests were done.
Euro NCAP Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car impacts a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

Eh sì, sicuramente all'Audi avranno fatto passi da gigante. L'iihs nel 2012 la valuto' POOR kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZOac5uwpbWphLs. Chissà se gli acquirenti Audi 2012 sono a conoscenza di avere un'auto che per l'ente americano IIHs ha sicurezza pari ad una Fiat Tipo del 90. Dopo il dieselgate, scoperto dagli americani, chissà perché non mi fido della EuroNCAP. Da video si evince che l'ente ha evitato l'urto in stile IIHs, forse per non fare vedere che si aprono gli sportelli.
