As you can see the roof of all VW cars are laser welded which is better for roof strength and doesn't need an ugly rubber to cover roof welds.

They should up the speeds to like 70mph because that's how fast you'd go on a motorway or dual carriageway which is why most people drive. The speed they test with now is more like town speeds which isn't where most people drive.

but it's where most accidents occur. On a motorway you would go to speeds closer to 100km/h, at which point the number of cars suited to survive a crash like that is close to 0. It mostly boils down to luck. Even seatbelts do very little at high speed.

Motorways are the safest roads you can travel on. Like previously stated. most accidents on motorways don't occur at 70 anyway. They tend to happen in heavier traffic when speeds are lower. Most fatal incidents are between HGVs or as a result of some freak injury like debris hitting you in he wrong place. Cars are inherently dangerous places.

Warum sind immer die Fahrer-/Beifahrer-Seitenscheiben bei den Tests unten??? Diese Scheiben gelten als integrierte Sicherheits-Bestandteile eines Autos. Klar gäbe es Spiegelungen beim Fotografieren von aussen, aber hey, wir sind im 21. Jahrhundert......................... Auch finde ich, dass bei den Fahrzeugen bei einem heftigen Frontalcrash immer alle Airbags (Window etc.) ausgelöst werden müssen. Auch muss man endlich mal die Kopfstützen verbessern. Jeder Insasse erleidet heftigste Nackenverletzungen beim Zurückschleudern, weil der Kopf neben den Kopfstützen aufschlägt. Es gibt noch viel zu tun, sehr viel sogar!!!!!!!!!!

Side pole test is done at a meagre 32 km/hr speed and here in India when kia Seltos got collided on sharp edge of concrete wall at 130-140 kmph and got split into 2 parts people are judging its build quality. Chutiya public
