Agreed! If they added volumetric lighting to the games some day so the lights'd actually cast cones through the fog, I think then would also be a great time for them to add functionality to the foglights, for all the trucks that have them.

@@CangoFango Yeah but some trucks by default already had the fog lights (activated at high beam), such as the 2013 Renault T and the 2015 MAN TGX

Since old trucks rework will probably never happen, I would love to see more difficult and diverse pick-up/delivery points. For instance, some difficult ones inspired by Scania Truck Driving Simulator like the construction site level, or like delivering food to a supermarket and having to reverse park trough the parking lot, or just tight places and so on... And then like delivering a digger or construction material to roadworks outside town or on the highway, you know not always from company to company. Obviously they should mark that kind of jobs as "difficult" in the menus so people know. That would greatly improve immersion imho

I agree, having more STDS/Trucks & Trailers-esque gameplay in there for those who'd enjoy more of a driving challenge would be great! Though I wouldn't rule out the possibility of old trucks getting a rework, mainly since this has happened in the past (see ATS' Kenworth W900 back in March 2023), and also since SCS have officially annonuced that they're in the process of reworking the old Volvo FH13 in last year's Christmas livestream. 🙂

Just a correction @1:36, the Bremen-Travemunde Special Transport route has been in the game since 1.43 (which you also shown it before in your 1.43 update showcase video almost 3 years ago) so it is not an entirely a new route. 👌

And Travemünde was been reworked in 1.48, so instead, that Bremen-Travemünde route is a special transport route rework for me

It looks downgraded by sooo much. They took away that look people were used to for years, which was specific for ets 2, and replaced that with sth you find in every other game. It looks uninteresting, uncatchy.

SCS have Not deleted any trucks. SCS have moved older trucks to Used Trucks.

The special is under the hood which makes the game even longer as a long term service game. I am a programmer too and I can tell you from my experience a refactoring requires time.
