@@daviddutragr.9766 You are partially right, partially wrong. What it simulates is that the road is more slippery when its wet, which is correct. It also reflects more light as well. Though SCS has taken that a bit further than the realistic part.

i remember it like it was yesterday, omg, the struggle to go 30fps on my dad laptop, playing everyday for 2 hours straight, and now im 26 yrs old, having a decent pc to go maxed out and moza racing setup, but nothing beats that feel when seeing the first release of ETS 2, the dealerships, mods, and i learned how to drive because my dad often seeing me playing this.. this game brought me to be car enthusiast, btw thanks for the video, and thanks to scs for not leaving this game and keeping it alive until today ❤

👨‍🏫 I'm going to give you a very important tip for those who have a weak PC or don't use a video card, don't try to download the latest versions, always use the previous versions, test with the previous versions and see which version runs smoothly, because there's no point in downloading the latest versions and doing configurations recommended by third parties, because you may end up messing with something and end up having problems with the system, even because with each update the game gets heavier, so try a lighter version like, for example, from 1.40 and below and see which one runs better, and of course this also depends on your processor and RAM, and after you find a version that runs smoothly, just download a map and put it in the game with your mods. 👍
