If anyone is having problem with the skin showing just pink in-game - I have tried to edit and export the skin via Photoshop CS6 and it fixed the issue for me. Thanks for the tutorial !

no - you would need to make multiple skins but you can add them all in via the mod manager

Yeah just colour the trailer skin to what you want and then add text instead of graphics - you may have to try a few time to get it all the right way but it will be worth it in the end

Hi there is there any way of doing a double trailer version as I made the single trailer for the VTC I'm with but noticed it doesn't have a double trailer one could you help me as I seem to can't find a template for double's as my VTC would like to have them but can't yet as I'm trying to find the website that does the double and triple trailers for both ETS and ATS

Great video. Very helpful. Saves me trying to modify a folder structure to get trailers in the game. One question though, how do you colorize the chassis and side plates ?

side plates will be the base colour if trailer once you choose the painted option in the parts, and i think the chassis is always black

If I remember right, as its a while since i have made any mods, i used to do the graphic and then use the base colour chosen in game

no it cant be used - currently any mods that used in game must be on the server you are playing, so basically you can only use your own skins in single player games

I would check 2 things - 1 that the image has kept to the right size and 2nd that the original image has flattened correctly

Hi Red hope you can help as i seen the toon badge a fellow toon army fan. i watched & followed the above video for my trailer and it worked sound. but i was going to try and do a tanker trailer but came across 2 problems (1) i can not find latest tanker trailer template's (2) i can not see tanker trailers mods in ETS2 mods studio 2. so I'm not sure if its possible to do them. but if it is and you know how to do them any chance of a youtube tutorial as i have looked and can't see any. cheers and 'C' MON THE TOON

Every time I try this, the base colour in mod studio over-rides the image I apply to the trailer. My skin is dark red yet when I load the skin on to a trailer, it's just white. Any ideas, please? edit: never mind, i don't know how i fixed it but I flatenned the image first before saving it in photoshop and then when creating the mod using ets2 studio, I made sure to tick the paint job option as well as the trailer option when choosing what my mod actually is. @@tylerdowie384 try to restart paint.net and make sure you really select a new start layer. For some reason when I done second trailer the paint program recognised that I used the first layer before and used that again. So when you start new trailer make sure you use the layer with the trailer out of the original folder. Hopeyou understand what I meant...

check that your design hasn't resized from the original size - some gfx programs have been re-scaling images

I'm stuck on this. I've followed it to the letter, and i get an Export Failed error. I cannot see the error log as the option is greyed out. Also, my skin only shows the top corner in the preview, whereas yours shows the whole skin. Do you have any ideas on where i might have gone wrong? Thanks.

the 2 things i would check are that png has stayed at the same dimensions as the original template and that it has flattened correctly, some programs, like photoshop, dont seem to be auto flattening the image
