Hey nice car! Just got one myself and wanted to know how much is the cost of ownership on it like service A and B. I know dealerships charge way too much but do you go to other shops for that that's cheaper. Any help will be appreciated

Majority of those services you can do it by yourself, like changing air filters etc. literally there are lots of tutorials on youtube so it's fairly easy. In terms of oil changes/brake jobs, just find a reputable shop and skip the dealer. There is nothing difficult about the m278 engine and car overall so shouldn't be a problem.

Hi I’m thinking of getting a cls 2012-2014 and not sure what to get the cls 63 or cls 500. I’m really curious about the cost of the maintenance and will the 63 be much more expensive to maintain? Thanks btw

I mean Long as you get your oil changed regularly and keep it up the 63 maintenance will be kinda the same as the 550 but a little more expensive lol , I’m gettin a 550 though 63 one day lol

Yes, it's stage 2 with catless downpipes. I'm sure stage 1 won't be as fun, yet better than stock.

Nice car! i got a 2014 cls550 and looking to tune it through eurocharged. can i go straight to stage 2 or stage 1 then 2? also how long does it take to tune the car and does it void any warranty? thanks and all the best.

You should contact your local eurocharged dealer. I'd suggest go directly with stage 2 and no cats to get max out of the tune. Took around hour or so to do it.

yes, I still have stock mufflers from cls550, tips were added for the look and compliment the diffuser.

I'm in Toronto, Canada. I had downpipes custom made here by a local shop. There are some options online (just google m278 downpipes) but they are kinda pricey so maybe it's better for them to do it for you.

Hey, I went to our guys at Eurocharged Canada (steeles/differin). I believe it was around $2k to do, but it so worth it. Why would you go to Pfaff? What do they offer? I'd go eurocharged any day.

How long have you had the tune? And how is the car holding up with it? Any issues?

For over a year now 25k+ km driven. The car holds just fine, the only thing I had to change spark plugs cause it was misfiring time to time, I wouldn't blame the tune as it was about time to change them anyways. Other than that, just regular maintenance and oil change every 5-6k.

@@ButteredPeanuts yes, it's by default. You can go with stage 1 tune if you still have your cats. If you install downpipes or cutout cats just go with stage 2 catless tune and it will take care of it.

I have 2007 CLS550 with the n/a 5.5l (m723) that's the same engine as you I think , how much hp are running how much did your build cost? , I thinking about doing headers downpipes, x-pipe and a tune trying to see if I can to 500hp on a n/a set up

Not the same engine , this is a turbo model , the first gen CLS’s were only NA. You can push around 400-430 with basic mods like tune,headers, and possibly cams

it's a 550 with quad exhaust conversion. Pop and crackles because of cats are gone, but it's happened only from time to time.

Hey you stole my car lol..I have the same set up and all ..right down to the eurocharged tune,and left the factory mufflers! Ended the day at 600 go to the wheels and 650 tq if you ever get to wondering...it was very hot..over 100 inside the building,so I wonder what it had done on a cool evening in fresh air 🤷🏻‍♂️ ..enjoy I know I do!
