I've driven my boss's Mercedes CLS-550 several times and all I can tell everyone is that the ride is just amazing, absolutely NO bumps on city streets that you would totally feel if you were driving for instance a Chrysler 200, Altima, etc...

AZ.LUNATIC_ 2006 CLS550s are selling for well under $10k bro. And if you want the new design; the 2012 is starting at $22k. So it's not even a hard car to finance, even if you're job is at McDonalds

Not surprised you enjoyed the CLS, Matt :D Haha, I remember when I picked up my 500 Shooting Brake tester in Stuttgart last year, switching from a 911 to that thing was so funny. Is was giggling when I drove on the autobahn for the first time :) Power is really good, mine hit the 240 kph limiter all the time and I'm sure it would be capable of well over 175 to 180 mph :) Perfect autobahn express, but for backroads in germany it just felt too big to me. But still: What a car. Easily one of my favourite Mercs at the moment :)

Fast forward 10 years, my daughter is looking at a 2014 with 50k miles on her. Car is in mint condition. How is the dependability on this vehicle ? Any big expensive fixes coming up soon at 50k miles?? Is it reliable ?? She is in school in another state and I worry about it breaking down on her… she is pretty set on this particular vehicle

Thinking of picking one up, A 2012 2013 to keep it around 20k price range. Can anyone tell me if you have had your for a long time any issues or cost or what to avoid? I will be doing research but would like honest feedback about the car. I also work on my cars I have a procharged vette that makes over 700hp. To the average man who's used to driving 4cyl economy cars, ~402hp is MORE than enough to hurt your head. For those who are used to luxury cars, the AMG CLS63 with near 600hp is around the corner.
