Euro NCAP Crash Test of Audi Q7 2015

Euro NCAP frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car the car impact a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

Dear Euro encap can you please start testing a frontal impact scenario of wall simulation of two cars hitting each over at 40kph on an off side angle as this is the most common impact in a road side as people panic when facing an on coming car and turn , also can you incorporate a front side impact over the wheel arch/engine area as this seems to be more of a common occurrence in t junction accidents as this will impact pedestrian protection say if a motorcyclist gets pulled out on 90% of the time they hit the front quarter and not the mid or front on

Why do you need both curtain airbags in a full frontal? Or the passenger side curtain airbag in a DRIVER side offset? Audi seems to have developed a policy where curtain airbags will always deploy in a frontal impact. Lazy engineering on their part as some frontal impacts (e.g. offset) the curtain on the impact side will be beneficial, but some (e.g. full frontal) the curtain is totally unnecessary.
