A great day fishing a new stream for me. It took a lot of hiking to find the right water, but it was definitely worth it.

It's great to be here! I actually just moved to southern Wales, but I have family up in Lancashire and I'm sure I'll be up there fishing again in the near future! You are in a great area to start out fly fishing. I am getting another video ready soon from a stream in Yorkshire that has a really nice population of fish. Let me know if I can help you at all with your fishing adventures! -Patrick

You're exactly right, it is Tebay Anglers water. I really enjoyed this area with its beautiful surroundings. I only wish there was less grass and algae growing in the stream. I wonder if the riverbed is cleaner in early spring after the winter high water.

@@simonartley1645Really looking forward to getting back to the Lune one day. It's one of the prettiest places I've fished in the UK so far

@@AAAFlyFisher yes it will be . In early spring there could be hatches of March Browns and Large dark olives..usually in the middle of the Day.

Thank you Cory! Fish were landed on your stupid simple pheasant tail by the way

Ah the stupid pheasant tail...so easy to tie can be tied as a spider and also used on still waters as a pattern called the Cruncher. Mr Sawyer would be amused his pattern has lasted the test of time and adaption.
