You have good content ! You should start Marking your video with time stamps on what you explain since your videos are longer just a suggestion haha but I’m also from nc and fish similar spots u film at and it’s very good euro nymphing pointers! Do you show your flies ? And also what setup are you using ? Reel and rod. Also what kind of leader do u like using in these videos ?

Have you ever tried a drop shot rig? Seems like a great answer for fishing small nymphs with no bead.

I have used a drop shot rig when fishing beads in Alaska to get down and avoid catching salmon (we were targeting trout and Dollies). I think you could get a beadless fly to work with this technique, but you are probably limiting yourself to just one fly then. Once you put 3 things on your line - your chance of horrible tangles gets much worse. (ie lead weight + fly #1 + fly #2). When euronymphing, we tie each fly off a tag end to allow each fly to swim independent. Not to say there might be a situation where this works better then anything. I never say never.

Yes but it tangles more with Euronymphing. I use it occasionally in deep pools with snages on the bottom.
