EUROPE AND ASIA OVERLAND (Ep10) - Crossing the Caspian Sea (Finally!)

In this episode, we wait what seems a lifetime to get on the ferry and cross into Kazakhstan.
We find out we are the first tourists aboard the Zarifa Aliyeva.

I guess the ferry we took in 2007 must have sunk... Yours was very luxurious! I remember the crew were basically all drunk. All of the time. We walked onto the bridge, and no one was steering.

Great that you got there! Not many overlanders getting through, and a nice bit of history on the new ship too. That's a big drive in 8 days, looking forward to the next episode.

We were so happy! We didn’t bump into any overlanders once we were over. Hopefully it gets easier soon. Was a long 8 days! Thanks Kev, we’ve enjoying making them 😊

Is it possible to take car in ferry?

We were able to from Azerbaijan --> Kaz but on the way back we had to put the Land Rover on the ship and fly into Azerbaijan.
