Nice vlog, and the views from the window are beautiful. I also rode this train last year. Unfortunately, I chose the night coverage and saw nothing outside the vehicle. The ride at night, however, was more 'crazy'. Greetings from Poland

They moved the Belgrade main train station from the city center to the outskirts because of the new developments on the waterfront. Also really great video. The trains suck, but I hope you still had fun!

Stop spreading lied. Plan to move main train station was created in the 80's and work on Prokop even started in the 80's. Old main train station was badly positioned from the start, and it had to be moved.

You can buy only the Belgrade-Novi Sad tickets online I think. For whatever reason this isn't available for the Belgrade-Bar line. I think it's because it's so dilapidated they want to rebuild and restart the whole thing at some point

Is there a daytime train running now? We are taking this trip in opposite direction later this month. I thought only night trains were going now.

We filmed this in August. It is true the day train is seasonal. Check seat61.com for exact seasonal changes. If you take the night train in the opposite direction, you might still see the best parts while it is still light out and the sun should not obstruct your view. Have so much fun!

Ya... not the best first impression of Europe. We would have questioned what was going on too if we were dropped off at that entrance. Worst taxi driver and strangest train station in Europe. But you made it!!

Balgrade to Bar is the right direction, because the scenery gets better and better until it becomes truly spectacular. it is a pitty that you have to endure this old, uncomfortable and unreliable train - but adventure only ads to the flavour right? 😂
