You get more respect when you call it only Macedonia. For the people "North" doesn't exist. :)

I think we talked about it in the video, but it’s the sheer amount of statues and the use of previous periods of architecture. It isn’t a bad thing!

It is unusual because it has statues that have nothing to do with the country of North Macedonia, but with Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia.

@@PatrickTrpeskiii It is you who needs to read history... I can give you two examples. Goce Delchev is a Bulgarian revolutionary, and the statue of Tsar Samuel is a Bulgarian king... and his castle in Ohrid is Bulgarian. Those two things, you can read in any history book in the world, except for in North Macedonian communist propaganda history. North Macedonia as a country is created in 1945... before this the majority of the population in this territory are Bulgarians, who live in the region known as "Macedonia" or by the Serbian opressors as "Vardarska Banovina" or "South Serbia" Another example, is the statues of Alexander the Great and his father Philip, they are not North Macedonian, they are Greeks/Romans who lived thousands of years ago in the territory of Macedonia, which is mainly in Greece and Bulgaria. The territory of North Macedonia was known as the Greek region of Paeonia.

The name of the country of Macedonia is due to the fact that Yugoslavia gave that name to that region in 1944 when Macedonia was a Socialist Republic associated with Yugoslavia today Yugoslavia no longer exists , Macedonia had its own constitution and its own symbols within Yugoslabia

The name North Macedonia was literally forced on Macedonia. Macedonians had a referendum and rejected the name change. So please call us Macedonia. That's what all Macedonians call the country.

@@izzieanddale Correct, North Macedonia is what this ''country'' is called. They should be grateful they are even allowed to have ''Macedonia'' in their name since they are literally Bulgarians who were brainwashed by Tito 100 years ago to think they are another race. Bulgarians, Greeks, historians, everyone laughs on them. Knowledge is key guys so please use it for your own advantage and to not offend history itself.
