And in South Est close to Italy because l sm pretty sure you will those areas. The food in insanely good, different of 3 cities you went during this trip. So, maybe the next one 🙏 enjoy

Brittany's oysters are darker in color and must be delicious! The seafood tower is so big and has a wide variety of seafood. Seeing you eating happily makes me happy too! Brittany's desserts and Galette are very attractive and definitely the highlight. If I go there, I will definitely eat them every day! Thank you so much for sharing, super great job! 👍🥰👏

Hi, yes it's really good, l think you should order first "galette complete " and with drink cidre doux or brut. This is kind of traditional way of French people order it in crêperies. Finish by crepe if you want a dessert. Enjoy 🙏

Welcome to ma Bretagne! As an American who moved here, I absolutely love this region for its super fresh food. Did you know that 70% of the produce grown in this country are from Brittany? The bio farms, fantastic breweries, rum route, and so many other culinary delights make this a gastronomic haven! There’s sooooooo much more to this region. I love living here.
@drobgyn56157 ай бұрын
Don't the French hate Americans? How did you manage the transition, I'm happy you're having a great time there!
@ThisFrenchLife7 ай бұрын
@@drobgyn5615 Not at all. The French are incredibly welcoming, giving, supportive, kind and caring. And I’ve found that they have a special affinity to Americans in the north (they often reference WW2).

I'm heading there for two weeks...where should I go
@ThisFrenchLife5 ай бұрын
@@morvegil Well, Bretagne is one of the largest regions in France and it will depend upon how much time you have and if you have access to a car. For bigger cities, I suggest Saint Malo and Rennes. However, if you were specifically referring to the fact that you will be in Cancale in two weeks, that’s a pretty small town and you can discover it easily in a few hours. I always suggest Café Breizh for the best galettes and crepes in France. They grow their own varietal of serrasin on a farm near Cancale - they have locations throughout France and quite a few to choose from in Paris. But the Cancale location is original and, of course, serves Cancale oysters.

why season everything with these vinegary shallots ? you put far too much of it in the oyster! "we" "calm" the vinegar with a "gloups" of dry white wine (Muscadet). Crab and langoustines are eaten mostly with a french freshly made mayonnaise, and the little grey shrimpies with bread (a baguette will do) and local Briton salted butter.

Just to give you a tip : the galette shown in this video was the version for tourists, as all the galettes you can find in restaurant in Britany or anywhere in France. The real traditional galette is the saucisse galette, which can be found on markets in towns like St Malo, Dinard in Britany. The galette won't be brown but grey and with a much stronger taste, with a single sausage in it. It's really really good. You can't find it anywhere in France but in Britany. It's a must have ! Look for a food truck on any market, ask for a galette saucisse and enjoy !
@aimgorge3 күн бұрын
Hmmm no? As a breton, galette saucisse is for soccer fans and tourists. It's a very recent invention and absolutely not traditional.
