Everlong is one of those song that will always bring me to tears. it´s like no matter how hard you try to be rough and mature, all masks drop of and emotions just flow....glad you guys had such a amazing time here in germany. Rock im Park was my first festival I've visited almost 20 years ago as a teenager. We had no clue how to prepare a festival trip, carried way too much beer and not enough food during a crazy long train trip through half of the country that started after we finished school on Friday. The line-up was crazy: slayer, motley crue, iron maiden, slipknot, chemical brothers, billy idol, marilyn manson, sonic youth, in flames, lamb of god, weezer, maroon 5 (??!!), incubus, r.e.m., green day, papa roach, john legend (?!) and many more. For breakfast we had sangria with cereals. Memories :)

Just got to the Foos. Man.. That got me a bit.. My buddy was with Taylor literally the night/day before he passed away. He's done the sound for The Pretenders for years. They did a show with the Foos. Taylor was proudly telling my buddy about how, he was the one who convinced Chrissie Hynde, to get rid of the perspex sound shields from infront of the drums. 'You've got someone like that behind the kit, don't hide em away, you've gotta unleash the f'ing beast!!'. We were so shocked by the news. Devastating. It's a small story, but, to me, it speaks to who Taylor was. Just a genuinely lovely bloke who absolutely adored drums, music and rock and roll. ❤️🙏

Was also at the Tribute concert which was ridiculously emotional and I know seeing them again for the first time on tour will be emotional too. Rock am Ring looked sick 🖤

Yo my yo's. I've been stumbling though your scraps for a week or so now and I absolutely love the vibe of your crew, but this video reminded me of my younger years and I owe you or that. It reminded me of when I wasn't even of legal drinking age in Cali and my dip into punk and grunge getting to see costal regulars like Nirvana, Faith No More, Green Day, and Primus. I didn't realize it then but I was SOOO lucky, because it was my sisters and my brethren who took me along. (See at the time I was into industrial, i.e. Ministry, Sisters, NIN, Frontline ..etc.) I fell in love with whole new genres of music. Your emotions surrounding the drummer of the Foos, really brough to the forefront the great loss I felt when Chris Cornell died (not sure I fully recovered). I had numerous chances to see Soundgarden live and always put it off for work or some other bullshit thinking I would always have the chance (they would always come round again? right?). Nope. Fuck me.... life is precious and y'all take care of yourselves. Cool?

It was awesome meeting you guys at the fest right before KOL. You are SO lovely in person! Totally agree that watching the Foo's was such a highlight. It was so emotional being there for the start of this new Foo's era without Taylor. Having read Dave's book, my guesses about the "Aurora" tribute for Taylor and Dave's daughter coming out were right and had me crying in the crowd! I am loving this. Some of my best YT festival channel mates are going to the Ring, a Fest i have been going to since 2008. Prepare for lots of hill walking as the racing track is layed down on hills and such and good luck walking up and down towards yer tents. But Oh my god what a festival!! One of them biggest on the mainland, enjoy your time there SanPelli crew. It is one of the best in Europe. Luf this!

I went to Rock im Park on the saturday (the Lineup was like the sunday at RaR) I saw maggie lindeman, the warning, three days grace, turnstile, machine gun kelly and archetects It was great. From what I‘ve heard is that RiP is a bit more comfortable which means that there are more trees and the ways are shorter

I bought a ticket to my very first festival just to see the Foo Fighters, in Boston, I was so nervous about going alone. And also I'm older. I watched you videos and it really prepared me for the festival and the trip. (I flew in from Los Angeles) What I learned? I hid my tiny bottle of vodka in my bra. And guess what? It worked.
