A Czech initiative to buy shells for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is gaining momentum. According to The Financial Times, 800,000 artillery ammunition could cost $1.5 billion. Ammunition purchased under this initiative could arrive in Ukraine in early summer. According to unofficial information, the first deliveries are already under way. После обстрела террористами бандеровской хунты (ВСУ) Белгородской области погибла беременная девушка, еще 3 человека ранены. Под удар попало село Новая Таволжанка. Осколками выбиты окна, посечены фасады, кровли и заборы 12 частных жилых домовладениях и 2 легковых автомобилях. На месте работают оперативные службы.

You have to understand that these statements are made to mislead Russia and in order to not intervene with the selling countries to prevent the sale.. The first 300.000 shells are on its way already, in UA it shoud be in around 2 weeks, next 500.000 will be delievered by the end of May and the rest of 700.000, there is no date specified yet... From a highly reliable source..

Why these can not put air cargo as fast help, much more then by shipping. Even longest routes from Asia takes only month.

About time, the Allies have been slow, the dictators have no such issues plenty of shells in store and vast production capablilties, same old story the aggressors always have plenty, the West always caught short always playing catch up. However cudos to Czech Republic for kicking things along.

As ashamed as I am of NATO's cowardice, I am proud of my country. I never hoped for this, that we Czechs would ever stop whining and start pulling. That we will become such a leader of the free world. Unreal.

I’d like to relate a few of my experiences when I visited (beautiful!) Prague, Czech Republic last year. .Across the street from the Újezd tram stop at the bottom of Petřín hill you will see a series of statues at the Alej Obětí Totality - Alley of Victims of Totalitarianism. They depict the dissolution of human character and the hollowing-out of human spirit that occurs when people are hopeless under authoritarian oppression. Plaques in both Czech and English commemorate the numbers of those imprisoned, executed, and forced to flee the country during the decades of Soviet control. If you visit the Museum of Communism near the Náměstí Republiky (Republic Square), you will see first-hand what life was like under the Russian thumb. Under the years of Russian oppression, you were forced to believe the continual stream of propaganda and lies the government was feeding you. Otherwise, you would suffer dire consequences, sort of like in Russia now. The Czechs never wanted Russia running their affairs any more than the Ukrainians do. It’s no wonder the Central European countries and the other Soviet satellites joined NATO as soon as they could after the Berlin Wall fell. During the celebration of the National Day on November 17, I met an elderly man pushing his invalid wife in a wheelchair near the Národní Třída tram stop. A large area on the sidewalk was covered with flowers, candles and ribbons to commemorate the spot where police ruthlessly beat hundreds of protesters in 1989 who were calling for a more democratic government. The old gentleman told me that he was an historian who had lived through that period, and he had come to pay his respect. He kicked his right leg, and exclaimed, “Russians OUT! F*cking Russians OUT!”

Parents reminded their children every morning before they went to school: above all, be quiet, don't say anything, don't stick your head out, stick to the golden mean. Those who were not in the KSČ did not even get the position of master. The content of our lives was always looking for something: t-shirts, bathroom tiles, bathtubs, televisions, toilet paper. In the 1920s, we were among the most advanced parts of the world. This is what the government of the scumbags, the scum of society, who, unfortunately, have the right to vote in a democracy, will do to you.

@@AstroGremlinAmerican You realize that the aggressor is not interested in any charter. That when Mínas Tirith lights the beacons, Rohan must answer. Otherwise, the kingdoms of Middle-earth will fall one by one. NATO countries don't have to fight like NATO, but only as neighbors. Also be aware that Greece and Turkey are fighting each other and both countries are in NATO.
