I’m 17 years old and from North Carolina. Living in the southern United States exposed me to some epic weather events, including massive thunderstorms, tropical storms, and even snow. Watching weather has been my passion for as long as I remember, so in late 2021, I came to KZbin to share my forecasts with all of you. My channel started off slow, but my audience steadily grew as I posted weather forecasts for the United States. Then, as of early 2023, I’ve been living in Western Europe. This brought a whole new perspective to weather that I wouldn’t otherwise have noticed, and my growing interest in European weather brings me to where I am today!

Today’s storm in the city of Ioannina, Greece, brought great differences in a matter of two hours. Before the storm the temperature was 37C with 22% humidity and during the storm the temperature reached 21C and 99% humidity. A 16C temperature difference and 77% difference in humidity.

I'm visiting my mum in South-East Poland right now. We've and crazy winds this afternoon but what looked like a huge storm passed us by. But there has been one tornado reported in the country and a hailstorm so bad that the little town looked like it's been snowed under! It's nice and hot, hotter than Mexico I visited last month! But I do remember summers like this from my childhood. A nice break from an awful and wet UK "summer" we're having yet again

Today here in Albania it was very hot, in my city suny all day. In the southern part of the country there is a concerning fire on a hill, but it has been stabilized because of some rain from an afternoon t-storm today. But here in the north, there was no cloud all day!

Pembrokeshire 2024. The year without a summer as typical March weather continues unabated with constant cold dry northerly winds.

The autumn has lengthened into winter, into spring and now into summer. We don’t have saisons anymore. Just grey, rain and cold temperatures, it was 16°C today, no ray of sunshine to be seen and rain from 11 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. It is drizzling now.

In the Nedherlands: Outlook until July 20: The typical Dutch summer weather continues unabated, with an alternation of drier and warmer days with changeable parts of the day when it is cooler. The weather remains growing weather with generally slightly above normal July temperatures: sometimes up to about 25-28 degrees. I hope to hear from you again at the next report

Thank you for the forecasts. I understand the colours of the Atlantic storms in the graphics as it represents rainfall intensity. What are the purple colours to the east? There always a lot of them but they don’t seem to translate into rain on your own graphics.

You’re welcome! If you’re referring to the convective graphics, that just represents thunderstorm energy - so it doesn’t always translate into rain. Hope this makes sense!

Hello! There’s a lot of mixed information regarding AMOC, but one thing stays constant - it is indeed slowing down. Some sources say it could collapse as early as next year, but that’s uncertain. Whatever the case, if it was to collapse in the near future, I would be reporting on it here on my channel. The impact from such an event would mean drastically colder weather in Europe which would be felt in a matter of years.

@WeatherWatcher14 could a massive eruption from both Italian volcanoes have an effect on the weather ? As in, lower temperature due to blocking sunlight, thus cooling the mediteranean sea, causing less storms in the fall etc?. Or are these volcanoes too small for such an effect?

Depending on the severity of the eruption, yes there could be an impact. I’ll have to do more research to know how this would affect us though.

Shift of the jetstream/weakening of the gulf stream, solar activity (we are in the solar maximum) Things being wet keeping things cool tend to remain wet and cool where dry hot places remain dry and hot thanks to the air pressure those conditions generate? I think we mostly don't know, every year more data is gathered and processed. maybe we'll know why things happen by 2050 even better be able to direct the weather and send huricanes of water to parched places
