Der Renner für Kenner! Habe 18 Jahre Capri gefahren in Ostfriesland. Dieses Auto lässt nicht Loß!

18 Jahre ist eine schöne lange Zeit. Das klingt nach wahrer Liebe zu dem Auto. Die schöne Coupé-Linie des Capri, egal welche Generation/Serie sieht aber auch verdammt toll aus. Ich bin mal gespannt, ob dieses Jahr das European Capri Post Meeting in Speyer wieder statt finden wird. Geplant haben sie es wieder beim Technikmuseum am Wochenende 18.-20. Juni.

I love such events and I am lucky that there are some in 2 hours range so I am trying to visit them all. But in this year due to the corona virus such events are very rare. In this year there was even one Ford Capri meeting planned only 5 km far away from my home. But sadly it got canceled as also many other events.

Jaaa , Ford Capri ... eine wahre Schönheit. Alle Generationen. Ein Super Video ;-). Und sehr viele Autos aus halb Europa. Benelux ,Skandinavien, Südeuropa ... geil. Und einer sus dem Märkischen Kreis, wo ich her komme :-). Dein Modell sieht auch sehr schön aus.

Finde es auch genial alle drei Generationen des Ford Capri zu Gesicht bekommen zu haben und aus allen Herren Länder, einfach toll. Waren auch zwei Mercury Capri Mk1 dabei (das sind die Capri II mit den Blinkern im Kühlergrill), diese US-Modelle wurden allerdings auch in Köln gebaut. Gibt noch zwei Generationen Mercury Capri, die dann aber in der USA gebaut wurden. Mein Modell ist übrigens eines der beiden limitierten Versionen von ModelCarWorld die von Norev gebaut wurden - Norev baut die wieder aber in anderer Farbe und ohne M-CW Kennzeichen :D Auch eine sehr gute Qualität in 1:18, auch wenn es nicht ganz an AutoArt hinreicht, aber kostet dafür auch weniger.

@@BFDdrives Auto Art kann ein Normal Sterblicher gar nicht mehr bezahlen. Norev ist gut. Hab relativ viele Norev Modelle in meiner Sammlung ;-). Ford ,so wie alle Autobauer , bauten damals wunderschöne Autos .

Ja, heute sieht auch vieles so gleich aus ... teils sogar von verschiedenen Marken die nix miteinander zu tun haben. Habe da auch einen neuen Lexus gesehen, dessen Heck aussah wie von nem BMW. Da haben die damaligen Autos echt was, egal welche Marke.

@@BFDdrives ganz genau. Deshalb kommt mir kein neues Auto ins Haus. Ich investiere lieber in Reparaturen an meine älteren Audis. Hab ich mehr von :-).

Thanks a lot Eugene! It was really an amazing Ford Capri meeting in 2019. Last year I didn't have so much luck because I was there on Sunday and the most is there on a Saturday. So next year I'll have more luck. But I also visited a smaller Ford Capri Meeting in July. Will take a while until the video will be published. But stay tuned ;-) A lot more is coming ... I am currently curious if I can actually also continue about the model cars before the next season will start again. Been on pretty a lot of meetings in this year.

I love Capri's sadly very rare here in Australia.

The Capris are also already very rare here in Germany. But this international meeting was really awesome. Never seen so many Capris in my entire life before. They came from all around Europe. Sadly in this year the meeting was canceled due to the corona virus. Such big events are currently not allowed. Usually I am seeing 0-2 Capris on other classic car events.

Thank you! The Ford Capri is legendary. I can remember back to my youth then the people were loving the VW Scirocco and the Opel Manta - both also legendary cars. But the Ford Capri, especially the last generation was just the top by its looks - at least for me ;-)

@@BFDdrives ok i like rs and turbo look on capri but those homemade mods isnt look so good, in my mk3 got some extras like front spoiler, rear window louver, woflfrace wheels, changed engine 2.9 v6, exhaust system, chrome rings on gauges and others Little diferences than stock car, pic in my profile, thats my ride
