What a beautiful city. Small by some standards, but massive for others. Love the vibrant colours, the light traffic, and the scenery was fantastic. Thank you for taking us on your adventures across Europe. I really enjoy watching what you got to experience. 👍📸💕🐸

As a resident of Borås, also known as the rainiest city of Sweden, it was so funny to see that the rain came just when You entered the citylimit, and ended when You were driving out of the town...:)

As someone who lives in sunny Malta, I chuckle at this... while there is a thunderstorm outside. 🙂

Very interesting. The rain really wasn't a bother, it almost added to the experience of a sleepy town :)

neat drive. From my experience it's rare to have freeways passing through towns like that in Europe. It's almost setup like an American style western state like Minnesota.
@EuropeanRoads6 жыл бұрын
inner city freeways are quite rare in Europe, though some cities do have them. If you want to see an interesting urban highway, look up the 'sopraelevata' in Genova, Italy. I should get that on video one day.
@winwoodmayall6 жыл бұрын
There's an urban freeway in my hometown of Belgrade, Serbia. It was built back in 1975 right through the city. As you approach the city, speed limit drops from 130km/h to 100, and then to 80km/h. But people rarely obey this limit. I haven't noticed any speed limit signs through Borås. Suppose it's also less than usual 120/130kmh?
@kempo_956 жыл бұрын
@@winwoodmayall Speed limit is 80 as there are signs next to the road. 😉 And normal max speed limit is 110 in Sweden on a highway.
@Andreas46966 жыл бұрын
It's a bit more common in Scandinavia.

@@kempo_95 Thanks a lot. Upon a close inspection, one could easily discern at several spots, speed limit signs ranging from 70 to 80 to 110km/h...

Did you deliberately stay on the right in time for the trucker to meet the ramp so they have absolutely no choice but to ACTUALLY USE THE ACCELERATION LANE? I do just that all the time in my area as American truckers LOVE to merge into traffic immediately after the onramp meets the mainline regardless of how much acceleration lane they get and even whether they’re going above 70 km/h when entering (which is many states’ bare minimum speed on interstates under ANY conditions).

Nothing wrong with a bit of rain. Every country with a west coast in Europe gets a lot of rain. Which is most countries in Europe.

The 70 limit continues through the eastern suburb Brämhult, due to complaints from residents about noise. The national road went there also before the motorway was built around 1970, but the traffic is much heavier now.
