As a Canadian, the cultural differences I see in this are fascinating. Sure our trucks are different and the customization style is different, but the strangest thing to me is that there are several people filming video or photos, and who went there specifically to film. I feel like if this were a truck show in B.C., there might be one or maybe two old guys set up specifically to film, but even that many would be somewhat odd. There's no way you'd see 10 or more people of all types photographing the same street, besides the odd phone snap from out of their pockets. And I'd be surprised if there were a YT channel dedicated to "North American truck spotting". It's all cool of course, just unusual to me.

It's a whole thing here in Europe. People spend so much money on these things it is actually nuts. Those cow catchers alone can be around 4000€. Add in a roof bar with led lights and some more bells and whistles and you are looking at 20k or more on top of the cost of the truck. There are loads of truck meetings and they always attract big crowds. Working as a parts guy at a truck dealer myself I have seen some beauties leave our shop as well. It's always nice to see one of them in the wild knowing that a I played a small part in its creation.
