It's a method that's rich in possible variations, e.g. instead of using one filter, why not use two, say, one low-pass and one high-pass, and if the filter cut-offs are modulated properly according to the context/music, I'll bet strange and interesting music can be made. Also, a sequential switch that switches between different filters and /or constant cut-offs, would also yield results worth investigating, imho.

Watched this a couple of times. But the background music while you explain things is very annoying
