As a bad musician, I appreciate these kinda "happy accident" pedals that produce cool moments to give you ideas and just generally sound nice when you're just noodling around! This one reminds me of glitchy pedals but with more deliberate control over what happens, which is real neat. You could do some fun call-and-response stuff as the sequencer moves between steps with the different tones, play a bass bit here then play up at the high end when this part's active, that kind of thing! hell yeah I like gimmicks

Petrichor is among my favorite rain caused fragrances. I lived in Sierra Vista, Arizona for awhile. I'm fairly well traveled but Sierra Vista is my favorite home. My heart longs for the geography and wildlife and weather patterns. I miss javelina and desert squash and the monsoonal rain every summer afternoon. Love your work, Em. When will the LP finally drop?

The rhythmic undertones that you were able to create with the Petrichor and Drowner together were pretty cool. Getting a sequence of bass notes to fill in the low end and provide rhythm, while creating more textures on top, is super creative and functional. Thanks for a great video, once again.

I absolutely LOVE this pedal... the sequencer filter/pitch shift is gorgeous. I think it works well with the delay, but for me the delay itself isn't anything to write home about. The sequenced effect though, that's magical. It is amazing on harp too - genuinely don't need any other effect to create a full album of amazing music, in my mind. As always, I gotta see what I can do with my ZOIA...ideas are inbound, lol.

Great stuff as always! Though I will say, I kind of wish I could loop parts of this video specifically. Like, your playing is always really good, but the last two harp pieces are super addicting. It's so melodic and peaceful, and just... SO good. Hell, this one's got so much great musical parts to it, you could almost say the talking parts are part of the music. Just amazing harp lo-fi, and random compliments and light jokes about the effects pedals. Emily Hop-core. Em-Hip Hop-core? I DUNNO I JUST LIKE IT. :) Also, if there was ever a Metroid game where nothing bad or creepy happened and it was just Samus hanging around enjoying life, it'd sound exactly like 2:25

I'm really vibing with the bubbly tones. I am sad the flower crown wasn't real tho :( that was so nice. The combo with bit crusher reminds me of an indie RPG puzzle adventure platformy game. Like, Fez or something. We are entering the ruins and it is mysterious but wonderful. Cinder and Petrichor combo was especially tinkly and light. The constant crackly auditory undercurrent really set a synthetic mood for sure.
