Why do you need to stick to only electronic sounds when you can do lots of things in Eurorack? So, I wanted to re-create a free jazz type of session with sampled drum kits with some synth voices.
Clock/reset signals: from #PamelasNewWorkout.
All drum samples: from SineSample's #CinePerc played back by #BitboxMicro, triggered by #Steppy.
#Branches virtually allocates which drum the drummer's left-hand plays.
Bass: from #Mother32, also triggered by Steppy.
16th synth arpeggio: from #DixieII+, the pitch is originally from PNW's random CV which is attenuated/shifted through #SPO and quantized by #Scales.
Dixie's sine goes to #Bifold and square goes to #Polaris, summed at #QuadVCA.
Bifold receives CV from #MimeticDigitalis for various fold strength on each step.
#Quadigy provides gate to QuadVCA.
Effects and mixing are done in DAW.
Please like and subscribe. That will drive me ;)

nice one! now i want a bitbox micro. but i've heard it can emit interference/noise in the system, have you noticed that?

No. At least not like that is noticeable to me. Of course, the noise problem is a bit tricky and it can be different by the combination of module, cases you use, the power system, cables, other gears around it, etc. etc... but for me it works fine.

Could you describe the drum sequencing just a little more? you programmed the sequence into Steppy? and on one of the outputs you have Branches? which selects between which two sounds for the left hand?

Sure! So, kick and ride cymbal has their own track from Steppy. Very simple. There is another track for mimicking the left-hand, which plays three sample slots in Bitbox - snare hit, snare flam, and mid-tom, divided by Branches. That track out from Steppy goes into the upper input of Branches, then its upper out A triggers snare hit, upper out B goes into Branches' bottom input, bottom output A triggers snare flam, bottom output B triggers mid-tom. So how you turn two knobs controls the balance of allocation for those three hits. Also how often you want to trigger them, including the kick and cymbal (in other words, how much the drummer heats up), is controlled by probability of Steppy.
