I have had this product on my house for 5 years now, in Canada. Went with the black slate, looks incredible. 1700sq ft bungalow with attached garage, looks fantastic and has seen winds over 100km/hr and major hail with no damage. Love it.

Do you know about how fire resistance comparing to asphalt shingles? Whats the Total age of the product on use and how easy to recycle them again? Those are the questions that I'm wondering. Would you be able to answer any of them for me pretty please? Thank you in advance :)

Absolutely the way to go, now, as in Europe we need to incorporate recycled tires into our road construction materials...

In north America, we have been using recycled road asphalt to pave roads and highways for may years... I've sure they do this as well in Europa!

@@Siwashable I've been researching roof coverings in the UK for a few weeks now & not seen any products like this available. I think the fact that in England (not Scotland) battens are almost always used instead of boards/sarking may have something to do with the slow uptake as I'd imagine you'd need boards/sarking to support the rubber.
@deeferguson92723 ай бұрын
They do it in Arizona. The ride is quieter & the roads last longer. This must aggravate the road builders - maybe that is why they are not used everywhere - too many politicians & playoffs in the way.

Car tires contain potential carcinogens that can be released during off gassing. Has this product been tested for any health hazards? Texas gets hot in the summer, will the heat cause more VOC release? Does it require a lot of glue to install? How does this product compare to a more popular product such as the DaVinci Bellaforte line? Which one is more suitable for Texas weather?

@garfieldisgod4 жыл бұрын
you ever see a tire crack and degrade? my tires have 70,000 miles from short commutes to office and look like new. Plenty of thread left. Also, fire resistance cannot possibly be worse than asphalt. Plenty of videos showing a burning asphalt inferno. Imagine a roofing product made of the tough material of a tire; AND; all it has to do is lie flat on a roof; not rolling on a road. Some countries are incorporating used tire material into new roads with fantastic results. I thought of this idea many years ago, I am glad someone has finally made such a product. Only wish it was available in the U.S.

It's nice and I would love to have it on my home, but I just got a quote and it cost more than three times the price of the best regular shingles. If it was just twice as much to do the job I would have taken it and promoted it. If you listen to the lady in the video she mentions that Euroshield sells it for $250. per square for the lower grade and $360. for their best grade but when the contractor sells it to the homeowner it's around $900. per square for the lower grade, so the average home owner especially in my age range can't enjoy this recycled product.
