Fantastic stage summary but why spoil the ending with the finish line shot?!?

Yeah, I don't understand why they do this. It's the same in other sports, too. You can generally tell which team has won an EPL game from who is celebrating in the thumbnail.

Probably because some of us actually pay to watch the races on Eurosport and they want to maintain a difference in what is available for paying customers and those who want it all for free.. Spoiler free highlights are available there for a lot of races, and always full race replays. I think complaining about spoilers in the free coverage is a little cheap when it's only 6 quid a month to get full coverage of not just cycling, but a lot of tennis,skiing, athletics etc.

It's good for engagement and so it grows the sport of cycling, having the big names (ie the winners) in the thumbnail and the title is going to get more views. I see this comment on absolutely every cycling highlight ever and I just don't understand it... If you are worried about spoilers, don't come to KZbin, right? Even if Eurosport refrained from putting the winner in the thumbnail, the comments will spoil it, other thumbnails and titles will spoil it, plus of course the video itself will spoil it eventually 😂!

Do we really need that many camera men blocking half the road immediately after a DH finish ?

WELL PLAYED!! Watching these lads attacking each other one after the other, you had to know that someone would take advantage of the situation and capitalise on it. This young lad Romo attacked at the PERFECT time and it payed off. The way he timed that was like watching a seasoned veteran. Not only is he strong but he's very smart and that's something you can't teach. It will be interesting to see where his career takes him. Very astoot not to mention he just won a World Tour stage. Got my eye on this one. 🤘🏻🇬🇧

Romos - this young lad? He's 26. Been a pro for a while, since 2021. Great maiden win and yes hope he gets more now, did a great job.

Nice to see they have women giving the men they prizes instead of men giving men they prizes. Congratulations to the organizers for making sure of this.

Yes but I'm sure you've noticed for the past 5 or 6 seasons they no longer have the podium girls kissing the rider on the cheek anymore. Personally I'm not a fan of where we as a society are heading and now it's filtered into the only sport I watch. Political correctness once again. SMDH!! 🤘🏻🇬🇧

@kennykaniff 5 сағат бұрын
@@stormkleinlugtenbeld6931 there's a few reasons as to why actually. First of all don't make ridiculous changes just because the rest of society instructs you to do so and secondly because we are men😉 🤘🏻🇬🇧

@@kennykaniff In the world cup cyclo-cross races, the top three on the podium have received three kisses on the cheek from the person presenting the prizes. Not necessarily a 'podium girl' though. It's a cultural thing. If you think that it's important, write to the race organisers and complain. Personally, I think anyone who gets worked up about kisses on the cheek needs to gain some perspective on what's important on life.
