Lebanon: They actually sent an entry for Eurovision 2005 but the Broadcaster didn't want to broadcast the Israeli entry and they end up withdrawing around March 2005 Tunisia: They attempted to enter the 1977 edition of the contest and was scheduled fourth in the running order; however, before selecting an act, the country withdrew for undisclosed reasons

Great news: some are likely coming back next year Slovakia said they will probably Monaco also had said in 2024, but now theyre aiming for 2025 Macedonia said the same they will return in 2025 Montenegro also had rumours to return Romania also announced that most likely they will not paritcipate for 1 year And who knows when russia and belaeus will participate again

Belarus is not part of EBU anymore since 2021-2024. They are suspended. And Russia is indefinite suspended since 2022. So maybe Russia will come back after few years Edit: i could not find any information if Belarus joined another broadcasting system to join Eurovision. I looked up wikipedia about EBU and it's kinda confusing to me why some countries can perform while they suspended. Maybe I think that's the television channels not running anymore. I really don't know. And it's somewhat interesting. But we'll hear from Belarus later.

Most russians are pro-Putin, they insult Ukrainians on social media, for example, some of them even managed to call alyona alyona a "fat cow," that's their "innocence". They said that they didn't need Eurovision, that there were only "fucked up" gays there, that it was LGBT "propaganda", but together they all came to shit on our song and our Vidbir, that's their "innocence".
