Also, it seemed like Nemo had a small stage malfunction. In the grand spinning shot, the disk has been turning perfectly horizontal in every rehearsal, but in the SF performance it was literally shaking. I'm scared that this might destroy the effect for some viewers. Even Nemo themselves seemed to have struggled with it

Actually you have a point, remember Sergey Lazarev? He was blanked by half the juries and right hand side. Sure, he got a big first place televote, but it wasn't enough. And also Israel has sent many ballads in the past that the juries ignored (2013 and 19 come to mind). At least with Stefania, I can understand why people saw the song as a winner.
