I'm so happy with the results, actually. Slovenia proved the odds wrong, and I'm so happy about it. Above that, the fact that ballads like Grito and Ramonda qualified in 100% Televoting system means that viewers knows to recognize a good quality song. ❤

Slovenia qualifying in the middle of our Portuguese post-qualifying hype made you have the same reaction of "WHAT?? SLOVENIA YESSS PERFECT!!!!" that I also had.

THE WAY I WAS LITERALLY SCREAMING when they announced Serbia, Portugal and Slovenia as qualifiers first while i was terrified of them not qualifying. and then i was like "if Cyprus and Ireland will qualify too i'm going to cry" and they did. i might as well start believing in god at this point lol i am a little sad that Poland didn't make it though, Luna deserved better :(

Hvala na iskrenoj reakciji za Srbiju i Sloveniju.Dobre su pjesme prošle u finale.Jedino bih Finsku i Cipar zamjenila sa Poljskom i Azerbajdžanom.Posebno sam tužna što Azerbajdzan nije otisao u finale.No sa takmičenjima i ukusima je tako,dok se jedni raduju,drugi tuguju,jedni su sretni što su njhovi favoriti prošli dalje,drugi se ljute jer njihovi nisu🤷‍♀️. U svakom slučaju,posebno me veseli prolazak,Teya Dore,Iolande i Raiven( ubrojila bih tu i Irsku ali mi je nastup ipak previše jeziv😬).

The queen of this semi-final was the Irish Bambie Thug, because she gave a cinematic performance !! I feel very sorry for the Polish singer Luna, and perhaps with another song more suitable for a varied audience she would have passed the selection.

@@renesebel4794 In case it's your first time watching, Eurovision is a spectacle (thus the 'vision' part of the title). Like most live music contests, it factors in music (of all genres), the staging, dance if there's a dance component, and the overall stage presence. What's great about Eurovision is that the winners vary so much. One year a borderline acapella ballad will take it, only to be followed by a punk-rock pyrotechnic show the next year. There's room for everything, and all tastes. Have fun and remember not to disparage others for their opinions! ✨

I didn't film my reaction, but I'll explain I'm from Finland and was quite sure that we qualify. Serbia: Ok, not my personal favorite, but we must have some ballads also Portugal: Ok, this is enough ballads now Slovenia: Great song, but after the first three it looks bad for my favorite Azerbaijan Ukraine: Again, not my type, but they were a sure qualifier Lithuania: Like that, but also knew it was gonna qualify Finland: Well, here it was, happy for that Cyprus: Looking worse for Azerbaijan. Great song, but we have already seen this. Croatia: My winner, yes! Ireland: Glad to see them back in the final, don't love it, don't hate it. Luxembourg: Out of the six, this was predictable. I actually had hopes with Azerbaijan, but I'm okay with this. Overall, good to see again that the odds aren't completely true, I'm pretty happy with the entries, some good songs were gonna be eliminated, which is good for the contest

The live performances changed my mind on a few of these songs, Azerbaijan and Australia dropped, whereas Finland and Ireland took big jumps. Every performance was solid, but personally I felt Serbia was the least best of the bunch. Ireland went from least favorite of all this year's songs, into being cool with their qualifying.

Serbia. NO. Portugal. OK. Slovenia BIG YES. Ukraine. OK. Lithuania NO. Finland absolutely NO! Cyprus. ok. Croatia. NO. IRELAND. Big YES! Luxembourg. YES Ok...only two songs in my opinion move Euro along and away from the traditional sogns all heard before in years past. Ireland. Creative. Great performance. Slovenia. Big surprise as I found myself really enjoying the song and performance. Croatia as the apparent fav. been done before another bawdy sing along for the stadium. I hope this does not win as it has been done before....Ireland definitely for the artist interpretation and performance...and for moving Euro into new areas of artisitic expression which is why I enjoy Euro having been watching since 1966~
