My winner! ❤🇦🇺 Sheldon is a powerhouse of vocals. His voice is haunting, yet so ethereal. He is absolutely amazing and such a humble young man. My number 1 in Eurovision this year.

What beautiful people. Im so happy he moved you to tears, it got his message through and will help people to understand most people are not the same, its a song for all people who have been treated differently via many reasons. I hope he wins. Thank you for this.

Sweet reaction video 😊👍. Thumbs up. And please keep in mind that Australia isn't the only non-European country to have participated in the ESC. I mention: Israel, Cyprus, Morocco, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia. Plus Turkey that's situated in Europe by only 3% of its area and Russia by 23%. You ask would we need to go to Australia if the country wins? I ask would we need to go to Ukraine if they win? Because I doubt they will be able to host the show next year taken the current situation into account. 🎶😉 A bit about this incredible entry that "Not the same" is. Sheldon Riley wrote these lyrics to himself at the age of 15. He posted this poem to himself on Facebook that he had written, and years after got to reaccess this former account and found the letter and felt how far that he had gone since then. One can say that this young artists in some ways had a tough childhood. At the age of 6 Sheldon was diagnosed with Asparges, which is a form of autism. As a little boy he had difficulties talking and he was told that he would never be able to understand or communicate with other people. Sheldon grew up in a strictly religious family, moving from place to place. But Sheldon managed to do everything that he was told that he would never achieve. This artists, however, doesn't let his diagnose or the fact that he's gay defining him as an artist. Being different is perfectly alright. It's tremendous what this young artist has achieved. What a great role model for others. He now can be the person to others to look up to and to learn from that he himself lacked in his life as a young person being different. I can only admire him for what he has accomplished and for staying strong. Good luck Australia. If anybody deserves it, you do. 🎶🇳🇴❤️🇭🇲🦘

I heard on an Australian show that they are not allowed to host Eurovision because of the time difference, this is why they are lobbying to create a similar competition in Australia/Asia.

Thats interesting we would be happy to react to an Australian/Asian festival that would be amazing.

As far as I know, if Australia wins, we share the hosting with a big 5 country. Personally I think we should host with the 2nd place winning country.

I actually agree with this!

If Australia wins, they get to choose which country hosts on their behalf. That country and the ESC committee must approve the choice. It has been said that Greece would potentially host if Australia won, as we have the largest Greek community outside Greece here in Australia

Love your reactions I feel the same every time I see or hear it. His pain and emotion is palpable. The mask is symbolic people who are different or have mental health issues often wear masks. The lyrics are amazing.

Fantastic song. I believe Australia has organised a deal with Germany that if Australia were ever to win, Germany would host.
