"Hold Me Now" the winner for me. The song has been covered by several performers, including a reggae version by Tanya Stephens. It has also been updated by Belgian rapper Kaye Styles as "Don't Cry". This cover also features Logan performing the chorus of the song at a slightly faster tempo than the traditional version. The late Macedonian superstar Toše Proeski covered this song during his concerts.

Hold me now will always be my favourite, I remember watching tv seeing him standing there in that gorgeous white suit … I was a 14 year old and fell in love that moment !!! .. loved Johnny ever since and now see him in concert a lot xx 💚 the king of Eurovision & he is such a great guy , Sean is one of the best xx what’s another year was also fabulous I had the honour of seeing him sing it live in Vicar st Dublin with Shay who wrote the song - absolutely fabulous moment ! One to cherish … I got it on video it was absolutely amazing .. god bless you Shay xx

You happened to post this on the same day Norway, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta and San Marino selected their Eurovision 2022 entries. You might want to check out the Norwegian entry (Subwoolfer), it's very funny! Now, as for Logan, I really like both songs, he put lots of emotion into both performances, but "Hold Me Now" got a stronger chorus + bonus points for writing it himself (it is the most popular song of his overall). His '87 hairstyle is also much better!

Back in the day when Ireland tried to win Eurovision, There’s been 25 years of the worst music ever invented sent in by RTE the national broadcaster, due to the fact that if you win you have to hold the event the next year, which costs a bit. Around 10 years ago they even sent in a song by a Turkey puppet called Dustin the Turkey , the songs have got gradually worse since.
