Eurovision Song Celebration 2020 - Part One

Two special shows will air on the same dates as the Eurovision 2020 Semi-Finals! The ‘Eurovision Song Celebration 2020’ will premiere worldwide on our KZbin channel on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May at 21:00 CEST. This is part one of the Eurovision Song Celebration!
On Tuesday 12 May, the EBU will spotlight the songs that would have been shown in the first Semi-Final, including host country the Netherlands and 2 of the Big 5 countries: Germany and Italy. During the show, you can expect exciting interval entertainment. If you've ever wondered what The Roop's On Fire would sound like if it was sung by Elvis or how Little Big's song UNO would sound in an acoustic version, you're in luck! The classic Eurovision challenge "Switch Your Genre" is back!
KZbin Creators from all over Europe will react to the songs and will be included in both shows. While there will be no competitive element in these productions, you can expect many more surprises along the way!
To pay tribute to the loyalty of the Eurovision fan base, the Eurovision Song Celebration shows will include the first-ever Fan Recaps. Instead of the classic recap of the participating songs, we'll watch fans sing, dance and party along to the songs of 2020.

I love all the songs, but what I love most is when the countries sing in their languages, it makes you travel around the world to each country. The magic of music

I understand this situation, but my heart is broken because I feel this ESC could be nice, the songs are hits and we dont have the pleasure to watch a pacific competence where the weapons are the talent, the customs, the dances, the voices and the music. Thank you Eurovision because every may is a party, where everybody are a heartbeat.

Сейчас, когда слушаешь все эти песни по пятьдесят раз, потому что они нравятся, не понимаешь,как можно из них выбрать хоть какую-то лучшую??! - ведь они все хиты!! Где-то голос необычный (Австралия) , где-то хор сильный ( Швеция) где-то мотивчик ( story of my life), где-то танцы неуклюжего мужчины в голубом спортивном костюме цепляют( Уно), где-то оранжировка классная и слова- Франция, а Италия, а другие страны, где-то супергерл с красивой внешностью... Тут нельзя выбирать. Тут можно просто наслаждаться творчеством всех этих замечательных стран и их представителей. Я рада,что в этом году не надо ни за кого голосовать 😁👍. Все молодцы! Все в чём-то сильны и чем- то особенны!

How to fix Eurovision? 1. All artists sing on the real stage but no audience 2. Voting as normal 3. Interval acts from home and in the arena

Alexandra Framboise i think that doing this method could have worked if strict social distancing rules were in place backstage and to communicate with other people they could have used radios, the artists could have put on their own costumes and makeup with help from others in the groups or family members who they would normally isolate with...IDK tho, just a thought :)

Italia has such a great song !! Great simple idea to sing in your national language with English subtitles. That's the true spirit of Eurovision, not all singing in English !! Just for this 12 points go to Italia... and all other countries sticking to their home language (i.e. Croatia, France...)
