@@gobnock1980 no they blended Rachel and Molly's voices for some songs. The beginning of Double Trouble sounds more like Rachel, and all of Jaja Dingdong. I think though Molly is the only voice on Husavik with Rachel lip syncing.

The director was really adamant that they didn't come across as fake so Rachel sang every song live on set precisely to make sure it didn't look like she was lip syncing. Then they did the blending. Some songs were blended more than others though.

I feel like I'm the only one who really enjoyed this movie!! The songs were accurate, the jokes, even sometimes bad were also accurate! It's hard to portray the real Eurovision, but I am pleasantly surprised!

I hope this movie does the following: 1. Sparks curiosity in people who don't follow ESC. 2. (European) filmmakers get better ideas and make their own versions. (I'm surprised there weren't more ESC movies over the decades) 3. Eurovision fans get a little something to enjoy during these times.

I'm a Eurovision fan and I don't find anything enjoyable in the comedy about the thing that should be taken seriously. And Eurovision NEEDS to be taken seriously because even nowadays it can be a trampoline for a career if you are a musician

I just hope that they won't overdo the quirky part of Eurovision. I mean, yeah, the fireworks and stuff is part of Eurovision but it's not what the contest is about. For anyone who haven't heard about it before, it might just look ridiculous.

Eurovision definitely should be taken seriously because of what you said, and overall a lot of quality music is there, but some fun and comedy is also nice. My biggest concern though, is that Americans don't really understand the spirit, and the joke acts will overshadow everything. Shortly, that it will simply be too much and Americans will get this image of Eurovision, while it's not like that.

As an American who has followed the contest for ten years, I am psyched that a big name like Will Ferrell is using his platform to bring the awareness of Eurovision to the US. I wouldn't say he is making fun of it but I see it more of a tribute to the cheesiness and awesomeness of Eurovision and the magic it brings. My hope is that this movie will take off and spark the curiosity of my fellow countrymen who I think would enjoy Eurovision since many of us are descended from Europeans and would help us appreciate our ancestors and heritage a lot more.

But after some Director's bad comments over Eurovision and the fact that a lot of the people involved on it never watched a single Eurovision on life, I was worried about what image they will pass to people who don't know what the contest really is, like for example, the big part that will watch only for Demi Lovato.

If you know Eurovision well you will know that there is an organization called EBU that basically consists of an organization where there are some countries and all those countries can participate in Eurovision. They don't have to be from Europe even if the celebration or night is EURO Vision
