I don't quite agree, but I tend to demand a lot from singers. His voice is a bit thin and as the pitch goes higher you start hearing hiss because he's struggling. The highest note is a bit short of what it should be. I would say he's good enough for most pop but I think he would have sounded better if the pitch was even a half step down. This could also be somewhat addressed thru mixing because it has been a bit off in Eurovision quite often. It feels as singing was competing for frequency spectrum with other "instruments".

It is false advertisement by our liberal media to bring workers in our country from poor countries, because all our educated people are leaving to Asia or America at an alarming rate. I really like the way how Finland continues to be just lovable-crazy, the song and timing of the video is pure gold. But please... I can't be the only one who thinks, that Henri Piispanen has a real sterotypical finnish face and look in his eyes! Such a handsome man :D

I watched some videos and noticed that Henri has the stereotypical shyness of a finn too. He was just one of the producers and song writers and was meant to sing only on the demo. The demo was sent to the competition with his voice on it. So he had no choice but to sing in the natonal selection. Then they won 😂

Gosh you can just see how much fun they're having on stage, as an amateur musician, this is exactly what I strive to achieve : good music with tons of fun. Finlands used to it, being ignored by judges. At least people got fun and a laugh out of it. Also a great new party classic has born. I love this song and at first I thought this was gonna win for sure, but then I saw other countries entries and almost everybody had a very good or at least a good entry and wasn't so sure if win95 was gonna win anymore. And then Netherlands came and had that explosive perfomance and energy and I hated to admit it but Netherlands was gonna win for sure. It was that good. The song itself in my opinion is not as good as no rules but it's really good also and the chorus makes it, and they make up the lack of melody with the song with everything else. This was a hard year to succeed because there were so many good songs.
