I was 11 years old when I first listened to this. The Eurovision Song Contest was always spectacular for me, but remembering that I listened to this song while sitting on my grandpa's lap when she was still alive and recalling her memory now that she is deceased is priceless. I had an old Samsung E250 and I didn't even know how to download or transfer music via Bluetooth. Therefore, I opened my father's 5+1 speakers, blasted the whole house, and recorded it with my old phone and it's one of the best memories I still remember.

I'm sure he can actually play the song really well, however the violin that you are hearing is mostly, if not entirely, coming from the recording. He does play the violin here, but he is dancing around a lot with it, the violin is likely not miced up, and if it were it would likely not sound nearly as good as a recording. For all I know the violin that he is performing with could be muted, as to not disturb the recorded music in the intermissions between singing, or perhaps his microphone is turned down heavily when he is playing and not singing.
