I actually like Eurowings short haul business very much. You are getting access to Lufthansa business lounges, a really good selection of food and drink from the onboard menu (As much as you like), and good luggage allowances. They are on higher level than BA in most aspects.

In Europe pretty much all airlines offer the same so I would go for whichever is more affordable and gives you a better package. In my case Eurowings was the best choice and I’m glad I did it!

hey alex, i love your vids bro and for me i think you are my fav youtuber and the best aviation youtuber out there mate, i have sub from day one as your timing on the vids are spot on! Now i got something for you if you go to Asia, so book a flight with Bangkok airways from Bangkok Thailand to Koh Samui Thailand on the a319 in Asia's most boutique airline for as cheap as other low cost airlines, this will offer you free service to the rest area at both airports and buffet room for free as well, you get 2 free meals on board and also a free seat selection, and when you arrive at Koh Samui airport you will be blown away as it is called the outdoor airport as there is nothing inside, so i hope you do this trip report as i really recommend it

5:30, the Concorde is chilling after retirement but other airplanes get scrapped. I've seen Concorde also chilling on the Hudson river after retirement. That also says that the Concorde is special.

The Concorde is out of this world! So glad it’s proudly displayed there. Never got to fly it and got super pissed at my father as a kid when he told me he had just flown it and never took me along 😡

4:47 I can contribute something to that from a pilot's point of view... after both engines are stabilized we start the "after start flow" which incorporates also the flap selection for departure. At Heathrow they often do really slow pushbacks so that in fact we're already done for quite some time (even with NEO engines which take like forever to start-up) when they finally disconnect the tug. ^^

I fly quite a lot and recently had the chance to board a Eurowings flight. It didn‘t really feel like a low cost carrier to me…it seems more like a middleground between legacy, charter and low cost since it felt exactly like my inbound flight with Lufthansa. Even the same seats. What do you think ?

Eurowings dosnt have A330 anymore. Maybe you are talking about Discover Airlines (formally known as Eurowings Discover), they are operating A330 out of FRA

Discover is a bit out of my way as I live in Dubai. I flew the Eurowings A330 from Punta Cana to Cologne back in 2018 or so and slept the whole way, and I wasn’t filming back then. I hope to show it some time but not in the near future as it’s just not in my way ever. Thanks for writing!

Dear Alex, please be honest with this question. Have you ever been threatened by airlines for posting negative reviews? Cause I know one youtuber Josh who got banned by an airline because of a negative review he gave them. I don't want to mention which airline did it cause, if I do, I might get into legal trouble.

Josh is a whole different level. He was working alongside with QR (you don’t get to meet Akbar Al Baker otherwise..) and then decided to stab them in the back by trash talking. All QR staff hate that guy, he got so many fired for doing what he did. ALL AIRLINES have filthy toilets on certain challenging flights. He decides to film that. Mean. Anyway, no I didn’t get into trouble. One airline approached me to ask how they could do better. Thanks for writing!

Wow, food wrapped and sealed in plastic trays, no cutlery, and wine from a paper cup. Yeah, truly superior to LH European Biz class…. 😂😂😂 Unless that was all sarcasm in the video, the levels are darn low if Eurowing’s catering is called better…. Maybe more fun, but I prefer real cutlery and real plates IF (!) I fly European biz class. And BTW I have met loads of fun cabin personnel on LH branded flights. But apparently it seems to be a trend amongst YT aviation guys to bash LH recently. First the guy who was whining for 10 minutes in his vlog that LH didn’t show a safety video (yeah, shit can happen), made this a huge thing (it sounded like the plane almost crashed), and then was disappointed the purser didn’t bow to him during his entire flight. Then another guy who got upset because he gambled and wanted to test the new Alegris seat on the ONLY A350 currently operating with LH and the new seats, and then was upset about an equipment change and moaned about it for half of his video (and he got lucky because he got one of these ex-Phillipines A350 planes with a decent new C instead and not the old dreadful LH C seating). Geeee…

It’s a low cost carrier after all, and the fare was so much lower than on flag carriers, like 4 times less. It’s some sort of economy extra. I enjoyed it! And like I mentioned, I prefer the informality of the service over something more classic. I’m Spanish after all so having a Spanish cheese and charcuterie platter rocks! But yeah, you’re right! And about Lufthansa, I like them. They’ve always been great to me. But expensive for what they offer..

First and last time i fly with eurowings. Before my flight from Berlin to Mallorca, they obliged my to pay 50 euros for my hand lugguage, claiming its new rule. After checking, i found out its not true. The problem is that when i contacted them, while i was back home, they told me i had to pay because they put me with the first group which had the priority to board.??!! Never fly with them again
