I added some 3-D printed boxes for each character and use some printed bags for most of the tiles that make this easier to get to the table. I enjoy the solo play. This is the only game like this that I own and do not have anything in my collection to compare it to so it fits well for me. I want to try it out with my son soon.

Glad this was dropped before the Kickstarter. Set up is really a deal breaker, getting tired of games with massive setup. Thanks for the insights.

I might pick it up in the next Kickstarter. But I've currently too many eggs in Steam Forged Games' basket. With Monster hunter, Horizon Forbidden West and Street Masters...two of those games I bought for the miniatures the games are nice to have.

Fair review I backed and have this game, I really want to like it more than I do, but yeah it takes ages to set up and yes it could really do with better storage solution, you could of bought the deluxe box, but no one told me it was actually the storage solution (ish), Its not just the combat but the monster themselves are nothing but stats, they are not really different in anyway except for the stats on the cards. Its pretty fair to compare this to Mage knight, but its more sandbox and less difficult getting your brain around the rules. I did try to sell this as I don't think I will play it anymore, but have now come off the sales groups as people want a lot of for nothing, so I suppose I will now keep this game. But yeah the review is pretty much spot on.

the deluxe version sorts out the storage problem and set up, as i have it. gives you the storage towers etc. just pull out and play with it. And thats the game, not my boaby 😂

I disagree on combat part. Its simple math driven with lots of option. Gaar is key in combat and gear gives you lots of options. Setup is a lot tho. I have storage solution and it takes 30min to setup scenarios

Well you definitely helped me make my decision. The combat from what ive seen was more confusing and after hearing your thoughts ill be passing. Beautiful looking game but not for me. Thanks for the review!!!

Euthia in greek means a straight line and is pronounced efth(θ)ya. So not so aptly named for a sandbox game 😜. Nice review!

That's why I moved to gloomhaven digital. I enjoy jaws of the lion in physical format because the serial bound books and the helper as removed most of the bookkeeping

Other than a base idea it is very different than mage knight. Mage knight is a card management puzzle. This one is not. Euthia setup is impossible. But there is a storagesolution. Which cannot fit in the box!! It is also very expensive!! If u rnpast the price and u have storage solution and you know what you are doing you can setup pretty quick. But it is a long game. But that is what makes it epic. And it is rave against time. Nice scenarios :) I did not expect you would like it seeing your taste :) Keep up the great reviews :) Price is Bullocks!!

Cards in mage Knight are just tiles in this. You buy them from an offer and put them somewhere. The exploration is similar but obviously not identical. I didn’t say the games were the same…I just pointed out other “same box” type games that I prefer.

Had it, sold it, was actually boring for me. Poorly constructed combat, exploration was meh, there better games on the market than this. Really was stoked for this game but it ended up dissapointing me

The garbage combat system is what drove me away from this game. They had so many ways they could have gone with it and they just went with the most basic
