I would like to see plug-in Hybrids become popular in India. It gives a good blend of both worlds. Day to day drive like office commute can be done fully electric (as cheap as a pure EV) through daily home charging. While you still have a petrol engine for the occasional longer outstation trips. This would be attractive to a lot of people and make it very cheap to operate the car while eliminating most of the problems with pure EVs like resale value and charging infrastructure limitations on longer drives.

Ev ही भविष्य हैं बस जिस तरह petrol और डीजल pump उपलब्ध हैं उसी तरह charging station बन जाये तो .. अरब देशो पर निर्भरता खत्म होंगी.. ज़ब हम 20 लाख की ev कार खरीद सकते हैं तो 2लाख की सोलर सिस्टम भी लगा ले तो life कितनी आसान हो जाये, रसोई गैस का खर्चा ख़त्म, बिजली बिल का खर्चा खत्म, ट्रांसपोर्ट का खर्चा खत्म.. कार क़े मामले में ना क्लच प्लेट का खर्चा, ना आयल change का खर्चा, ब्रेक पेड़ भी न क़े बराबर खत्म होते हैं, न 1लाख किलोमीटर पर टाइमिंग चेन का खर्चा... बहुत कुछ हैं पर उसमे फिलहाल टाइम लगेगा

Crude oil is still abundantly available in the world compared to lithium. There r many oil producing countries compared to only 5-6 lithium producing countries.Therfore petrol/diesel cars are here to stay. In a country like india we cannot provide power for normal factories and homes properly, how is it possible to provide power for large scale E.V use.

EV best tabhi saabit hogi jab cost higher side par nahi hogi, ev ki battery hi 50% price kha jati hai whole car ki, aur jo bhi lithium bacha hai woh dheere dheere Kam hota jaayega, jiska meaning hai ki ev kabhi bhi saste main nahi milegi. Agar govt subsidies continue karti hai toh bhi log zyada nahi lenge. Ek ev ko jab koi 5-6 saal chalata hai na, utne main petrol car 10-15 saal chal jaayegi. Ye bahut bada difference hai. And, winters main ev main battery low ki possibility zyada hai, jiska matlab hua ki ev car har jagah compatible nahi hai in comparison with petrol or diesel cars. And charging stations par bhi companies tabhi invest karegi jab ev market continuously grow kare uske liye cost cut ya raw material specially lithium ka price bahut bada role play karega, cost ki vajah se agar sell acchi nahi hogi then charging stations par bhi invest bade level par nahi kiya jaayega. Isliye EV abhi bahut Naya hai, abhi isko samay lagega logon tak pahuch banane main, aur aaj har koi ev nahi le sakta. Aur mujhe nahi lagta ki ev ki cost main koi substantial rate cut hoga in future kyonki iska main part battery hai aur lithium rate mujhe nahi lagta ki kam hoga. Kyonki availability of lithium is very limited on earth.

@@ryzen6313 Bhai apko bhi isi duniyaa me aana hai toh Toyota case study ko toda samjo, on around 1970 Toyota started EV research development and manufacturing in USA ,but US government was not supported becouse of crude.then Toyota started hibrid vehicle in us.today Toyota biggest hibrid vehicle manufacturing in USA.same things happening in India, due to petrol banks in the hand of politation and big businesses, in India, EV charging infrastructure not developed as per required speed.

Maths isnt right at timeline 9:20. If you running 15k kms per month then the cost of petrol vehicle shall be Rs 1,21,000 and for EV it shall be Rs 15,000 per month. Kindly check once.. Or you meant 15,000 kms per year?

making a well Engineered Engine is an Art , sad but Tata is poor in making good engines, that’s why they r promoting EVs , as EVs don’t require high brained engineers.
