It is sad that Europe and the US will add tariffs to the price of Chinese-made EVs. All countries subsidize their industries and China was wise to stimulate industries that invest in a cleaner future and in modern tech to achieve that. The US and Europe need lower EV prices to clean up the air in their cities and lower inflation. But no, instead of pushing US and European car companies to invest more in cleantech due to competition with China, they stiffen competition. Even more incomprehensible, since the free world boasts of being the free competition champion.
