Tee, I have to say that your reaction was priceless. I was actually a little surprised by it because Eva is known as a jazz, blues, and folk singer. She demonstrated a little bit of this attitude in People get Ready and Down by the River. But obviously, this is pure jazz and Blues. Unfortunately, we lost a great one and it is mind boggling to think about what would have been if she was still here. Thanks Tee for your comments as always.

Ron R. i think the surprise here is not that it's jazz and blues. It's the incredible pitch she hits, and at full power. No whistle register or soft head voice. Full belt way up into the stratosphere. And she still has that bluesy, jazz phrasing even way up there. Nothing else of hers I've listened to shows that incredible range and power. Her early death, barely in her prime, was such a tragic loss to the world of music.

Ron beat me in requesting this, and we need way more people to appreciate Eva's incredible talent. The reason I held back was that I found the video images distracting.
