I've never heard of this lady..............she's very good indeed - nearly as good as Lara Fabian. Thanks

check out, 'over the rainbow' by eva cassidy! it's her best song by far!! also take a listen to the late, great soprano, patricia janeckova, who died last october from breast cancer aged 25! 'once upon a time in the west' was the song which brought her to the public's attention, when she was just 12! other recommendations are, 'meine lippen', 'mein herr marquis', ''pie jesus', 'think of me' & 'summertime', to name but a few!!

Apparently she always regretted never singing with an orchestra. Following the huge response after her passing the orchestral arrangement was added. The best deserves the best and The London Symphony Orchestra is one of the world's finest classical orchestras.

If you are familiar with the Moody Blues, you will recognize the orchestra, especially on songs like "Nights In White Satin". Eva's vocals are outstanding,

Another good example of marrying Eva's vocals with the LSO is "Autumn Leaves".

It's like she knew her time on earth was going to be short. Make every note count.
