Evade Window Level 5 vs Behemoth: MHW

Been wondering how effective the Evade Window skill truly was and this video was an excellent showcase of it! Really looks just like Dark Souls when it comes to invulnerability frames.

yeah since i've played freedom unite and recently a shit ton of dark souls 3 I was really pissed that I couldn't roll through some of the attacks, either because of the monster's inherent large attack box (their giant bodies instead of a thin sword) or because dark souls has ruined my timing for monster hunter rolls

I've had better luck dodging meteors with evade extender. My timing is probably off tbh. I'm digging evasion skills on this fight.

Because is not evade extender, is Evade Window 😂

Oh ok, probably is your timing, just practice more, when you do this perfect, only need evade window lvl3

i love it but i hate it. I tried it out and am starting to go down the "now i need it no matter what" train of thought lol. This is probably the best defense you can have in mhw the windows of invulnerability are HUGE... i need to NOT use evade window 5... its too good and i like it too much. Worth a try though!

why not just make the charm and never take it off? Evade window 5 is not THAT hard to get once you finish iceborne

Is timing still important when evading?

Yeah need timing, you can evade every one shot attack but need to know the righ moment to evade, level 3 is good for evade all attacks but level 5 brings you more time of invulnerability for fix timing errors but need to know the moment
