so, I'm girl from argentina, and, tho i liked drag for some years, i always thought that i couldn't do it. I felt that it maybe wasn't for me, not only because I'm a cis-gender girl, but because I always thought that I'm not charismatic enough. the person that really gave me the courage to try it is evah. when I watch her performing, I see everything I always wanted to do. she's so powerful, fun, stunning and unique. no one does it like her, she's just herself. evah inspires me so fucking much. she's a real artist and her performance never dissapoints. thank you, evah, for helping me realize that this form of art and entertainment is something I'm absolutely passionate about and for being the inspiration I needed to encourage me to do drag. 💖💖💖💖💖💖 also: I'll watch dragula and I'm rooting for you!!

@@EvahDestruction I feel like you're misunderstanding me the way I'm misunderstanding you. I'm not being elitist, or I don't think I am. I've been dying to see you on a certain other drag show for years, regardless of what its host or producers may think. I love Dragula and I don't really judge the girls on it for what they do but where I'm coming from is, I've seen the creepy clown performances, and I frequently rewatch your The Other Show (I think that's what its called) performance of That Laughing Track, but I also feel like that was an outlier amongst a vast sea of pop songs and show tune performances you've done (a lot of which I've favorited), the likes of which I HAVEN'T seen on Dragula. Obviously I don't know you personally and I haven't seen everything you've ever done since time immemorial so I can only go by what I've seen posted on your accounts. Think of it as like, Erika Klash's run on the show. She kept getting criticized for, not quite getting all the way "there" as far as what The Boulets were looking for, be it filth or edge or 'monster.' My fear is you'll get (or got, since it's already filmed) the same critique. As far as, "I hope she had some tricks up her sleeve," that was not me putting you down but me hoping I'm wrong to be so cautious about your performance. I was not coming from a place of "she doesn't deserve it", though I could see how the comment would lead you to think that. And I saw a pre-show interview where you said rejection scares you and I know your struggles with getting so close to Drag Race and not getting picked so I'm sorry for maybe poking at that. But please don't label me 'elitist' without hearing my side. Still a fan and I still.look forward to seeing what you can do. :)

You might be worried about my success on the show, but that comes from an opinion you have none the less. Which discredits my work before and after my clown number, and my struggle as an artist. I do pop and show tunes because hey, I love pop and show tunes! The punk police is gonna get me now! In any case all I’ll say is that sure you made a couple points, but this type of conversation lingers in artists brains. And that’s toxic. So thank you for that.
