I remember being 11 and my Mom got the Black Pearls deluxe set for Christmas. It had a lotion, body wash, and large fragrance bottle. I asked her why she never used it and she said it wasn't her style. I asked if I could smell it and I was in heaven. I had never owned a fragrance and I wanted it but my Mom said it was too mature for me. She went and bought me Dark Vanilla by Coty and from that moment I wasn't fully dressed unless I had "my scent" on. LOL!

House of Sillage will definitely bust your $400 limit...I truly need to create a limit. You have good taste! Your perfume storage is beautiful. Those are great questions that you ask yourself. With 600 fragrances, it surprising that you don't have redundancy. I can't help being attracted to similar things. I'm now getting some things that smell like nothing I own or if if it does, the heart and bottom notes wear very differently.

I store my samples and decants in my hanging jewelry organizer also, l thought I was the only one, lol! Its so easy to use them when they are inn my line of sight.

tooka81 Very nice! How are you able to get so many decants and samples? The perfume ladies aren’t very nice at the places I go to and it seems so painstakingly hard to get a sample.

@@tblub.9270 I have accumulated a lot of samples through giveaways, gift with purchase, also a lot of fragrance companies give out free samples through Sopost for people to try. There are tons of ads that pop up on IG and Facebook from fragrance companies offering a free sample. Macy's also has a program where they mail out 4 free samples called Macys Digital Sampling program.

ketly9080, Thank You for subbing😍 Fragrances do expire. The time it takes depends on how you store and care for them. My oldest fragrance is nearly 24 years old and it doesn't the same at all. I just keep it around because it has sentimental value. 😊😊
