Hey Eva, this is 74 years young (had a birthday since the last time I texted you)! OMG, I am sooo proud of you, and sooo excited and happy to see you embark on this amazing part of your journey! I sew as well, started 60 years ago in junior high school. Let me say that your garments are absolutely beautiful and look so well made. You are correct by saying that fabric is everything!! Your fabrics are gorgeous, and only women of a certain class will be able to afford your clothes!! You are starting off right!! Folks that don’t sew, don’t understand the time and effort that it takes to make a garment. Gauge yourself, but the minimum price should be at least 2 1/2 times what the fabric cost!! Another thing is that your clothes are “custom and tailored “, no two are exactly alike, that’s awesome!! For those who want to complain, let them go buy retail off the rack like they have been! You go Girl, get your money! Love ya!❤️❤️❤️

Eva you are incredible. Do you spend every waking moment at your sewing machine? And yes it takes awhile to develop those skills. You know your worth because pricing your work is a skill set set all on its own. Your creating designer clothing that won't be found at Nieman Marcus. Enjoy your vlogs.

You are so right. Congrats. Choose your market. They will see and appreciate the value, and not want to wear what a bunch of others have. You have to educate yourself about the techniques and methods, and in a business, you must write down your ideas, plans and designs. You make it real by writing it down or drawing it , otherwise it disappears and/or is still an idea. You are in Stage 1 of your business. As you grow and get customers, you have to plan the next stage which will be some sort of expansion. You have the right idea. Just think that 20 years ago, we had custom made clothes from our seamstress, and now we buy crap. We are ready to go back.

Your work is beautiful. Kudos on taking the leap to sell. As someone who has experience in sewing and custom design, your prices are much lower than I expected. It does take time to find your price sweet spot but I can tell you they are worth much more than you charge for that level of tailored pieces. Keep going because you will make a great name for yourself in this industry.
