In today’s world to see a father and daughter be able to talk to each other and enjoy themselves is so wonderful. I am sure there is more of that than the media will ever report, but I thank you for doing this video.

Mike you are one very fortunate guy. You have a really GREAT family. Eva is so beautiful and has the most beautiful smile, it is great to see her on here. Your children are mature for their age nowadays due to the responsibilities they had at a young age, this is a good thing. They will go far and will enjoy life so much more!! God bless you guys and keep them grades up Eva!😊

She's glorious Mike. You and Melissa have done a wonderful job raising your kids. From humble beginnings you have forged a path forward. Hunter may appear to some to be a hindrance, but in reality he has been a blessing. God has blessed you for not abandoning him like many families do. That must have been one heck of a pizza when you met the angel in your life. Continued blessings for you and the family.I have a similar story in my life. I truly admire you guys and look forward to your next adventure. Thanks Joe Sibre

THIS WAS FANTASTIC... Thank you. As a father of three daughters myself- I identify with Mike... my daughters make me proud of who they've grown to be. Eva - I can see the love your dad has for you most clearly when he smiles in the interview. Clearly the feeling is mutual. Mike as a parent I know you and Melissa can relate... it is wonderful to have kids and see them mature into adults who are truly fun to be around. Mike I know this will never change because its who you are- a provider. You are indeed "rich" in relationships. You reap what you sow... enjoy your harvest. You've earned it.

Eva being able to relate to many different kinds of challenges reminds me of my grandson. He is now a sophomore in college and he has her ability to relate to challenges of different kinds. In grammar school he was able to relate to challenged kids and teachers used to get info from him to help them deal with problems. This beginning school year in college he was picked to help freshman assimilate and get used to a changing environment. Eva and Sammy will be dealing with people in their chosen fields. Eva teaching fitness and Sammy dealing with people as a doctor. They are such special people. You should be soooo proud of her. 🎉 congratulations Eva.

Eva you’re a classy young lady whom represents your generation grace and humanity.. bravo young lady.. I also grew up with a mentally handicapped sibling she being 5 yrs older, this being in the 60s/70s in my State of Oregon we had an institution which was a series of cottages much like college dormitories where children like Hunter and my sister where housed and cared for. many family lived 30 miles away on a large farm and my mother would always go to town on Friday to do the shopping and she would always drag my other sister and I along and after the shopping was complete we would head to the care facility to pickup my sister to bring her home for the weekend. My mother made a point of having us spend at least an hour interacting with all the girls that were in the cottage with my sister as many if not most had been abandoned there by their parents 😢 I cherish the memories of those hours spent as they were some of the most honest interactions with other humans you would ever have in life.. it was funny as I became aware of the fact those kid recognized me as being different from them just as others would see them as different and they would get so excited to see me and my sis’s coming up the large staircase into the cottage.. My sis passed unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm at 17 and it was a devastating loss for my family so whenever i see a person like she or Hunter I try to imagine what our relationship would be like now that she would be 70 and I 65… Cherish your time and experience with Hunter and never let go of the value having him in your life has on your life and the person you’ve become…

Eva, you have your life together much more than you realize don’t be so hard on yourself. Instead just keep on putting 1 foot in front of the other and doing what’s right and things will turn out fine. Mike, you have a lot to be proud of. I enjoy your videos and look forward to many more.
