He is wasting his time with bowerman… he obviously can’t stay healthy with Jerry . I don’t understand why anyone would stick with the same coach if they continue to get injured. Woody & Grant are thriving & will continue to do so.

Jerry also got him to be one of the best steeple chasers in the world at one point. He’s just getting old for a track runner at this point.
@Redtunco9 ай бұрын
@@baumsquad222 of course he’s great. I just don’t think he should be doing the hard bowerman workouts anymore at his age. He even said so himself that he’s doing reps slower.

He planned to drop out of the race? Not being a pacer? And going all the way to 4k seems so weird. Still a huge Jager fan though

Will never forget July 4th 2015, when he tripped over the last hurdle in Paris, missing 8 min by a whisker.

A great example of how to be honest and listen to your body as an aging athlete. Thanks Evan!

Change can be good But for Evan Its getting pretty late esp since the " O " Trials coming soon Yeah Woody Leaves Then Grant & Fisher is The Talk Evan working too hard convincing himself that hes in a good place fitness wise & Jerry is the Coach Who Can Bring Him To Glory Not Buying it Dont buy into the DNF for a 5k Indoors Outdoors Either

Waiting for his marathon debut. I bet he'll thrive there. He mentioned in several interviews that he enjoys the long workouts & the grind of 20-mile tempos

He can’t race a 5k but you think he will race a marathon?
@jomm76719 ай бұрын
@@AH-uy6te You obviously haven't ran both distances competitively. 5k pace is completely different from marathon pace. Jager's strength IS his strength, not his speed, which is exactly what he'll need more for a marathon.

@@jomm7671 you are daft, he can’t finish a 5k but he will run 120 mile weeks and run 26.2 miles. Go to a doctor and get a cognition test.

What is the difference between running 4k and 5k in terms of his recovery? 1000 meters racing hurts his chances of making the Olympic team? Is this a joke? His competitors are all racing full schedules and getting sharp. He will get blown away. Also he looks 50 years old now.
