No looking for why these ppl and what they own should go this much public instead of just sharing experiences or their ads and videos showing how they're hiring ppl to establish a better world and help humanity....makes sense !? Not what one person owns from jets to whatever and on the other hand side ppl and especially kids dying cause they can't even have a glass of water to drink when their countries are being looted by the same lame governments that initiated UN...? Do some videos about this if u have the guts...how about a video with all those ppl getting together and bring life and prosperity to these countries.....it won't affect their wealth ;)

That may be true in some cases, but it is a very one-sided view. One can easily be in a situation where there simply are too many and very different commitments to fulfil; not everyone is his/hers own boss. Most of us have some commitments also in personal life, and if 'taking action' (month after month, year after year) in everything that is thrown at you at work wears you out, then you may become stressed about the idea that you don't live the kind of life you want, that you have no energy left for the things you like to do - or need to do - in your personal life. In a way stress is a sense of an abstract threat, fear of failure, that has very strong social basis, fear of losing one's face, not being good enough. Everytime one 'takes action' on something, the energy, concentration and time spent on the action is taken away of something else. If that something else is the very thing that you want to concentrate on, and to be good at, then there are only so many other actions per day that you can take, until you're bound to be stressed. Another thing: for an average Joe taking action by sending one email or making 'the 1st phone cal' in many cases adds up to nothing; a lot of people get a lot of email (read: too much) these days, and they tend to ignore anything they possibly can, after a quick glance maybe. Of course it's a another thing if an email is send by Bezos.

5:50 That is so true. When I was stressed out over the active sonar by the Navy which is killing the whales I cried and cried and felt so helpless knowing that the whales and dolphins are suffering and bleeding to death internally by the Navy's sonar sound. I went out to stand in front of stores in LA to petition and get signatures for the whales and to outlaw active sonar. I was shy and felt awkward but I was very focused on what I was doing including talking to strangers because this was not for me this was for the animals and it felt real and good. I learned a lot about myself during those years. It was not easy because I stood there in wind and rain. The weather was cold and the people were often very cold as well. But while I was collecting signatures I felt better, I felt like I was doing something about it, I was moving closer to my goal of outlawing active sonar and I even enjoyed the process.

Today, FEB 08 2021 is the day I watched this video. I'm planning to comeback here every year to see my progress. It gives me more insipiration to be successful in life. I am 28 years old, employed, no business yet, single, no own house yet, no car. What I only have now is knowledge, insipiration, eagerness to learn each day and a passion to make my dreams come true. Okay, I'll comeback here next year, FEB 08 2022. 🙂

Your subject (Jeff Bezos) has an amazing story, told in his own words. I recall watching an interview with Jeff Bezos in 1999, I was greatly interested in his view of the future as seen by him. I likened it to an athlete competing at college level, and being able to watching that entire career through the Minor Leagues all the way through the Major League, on up to the highest point of a Super Stellar Career. That is what our All American Jeff Bezos means to me.This made an excellent series of interviews. Thank you for the opportunity! July 20, 2020

4:56 - Stress "I think stress you can be one of the things that's very important to note about stress is the stress primarily comes from not taking action over something that you can have some control over." - Jeff Bezos kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5Kqq2N8o9SAnbcm46s 4:46 - "That over and over again then ultimately you can instill your company's name with a reputation and that's I think you know sometimes people talk about brands in this very amorphous way but for me I like to think of it as a person and what is the reputation that that person has and how have they earned that reputation I think stress you can be one of the things that's very important to note about stress is the stress primarily comes from not taking action over something that you can have some control over so if I find that some particular thing is causing me to have stress that's a warning flag for me what it means is there's something that I haven't completely identified perhaps in my conscious mind that is bothering me and I haven't yet taken any action I find as soon as I identify it and make the first phone call or send off the first email message or whatever it is that we're going to do to start to address that situation even if it's not solved the mere fact that we're addressing it dramatically reduces any stress that might come from it so stress comes from ignoring things that you shouldn't be ignoring I think in large part so stress doesn't come people get stress wrong all the time my opinion stress doesn't come from hard work for example you know you can be working incredibly hard and loving it and likewise you can be out of work and incredibly stressed over that so and likewise if you kind of use the you know use that as an analogy for what I was just talking about if you're out of work but you're going through you know a disciplined approach of you know a series of job interviews and so on and working to remedy that situation you're going to be a lot less stressed than if you're just worrying about it and doing nothing." - Jeff Bezos

It rang to me the last one.. develop a thick skin! Ive had so many people criticizing me for the longest time, even bullied but I still kept going and grades went great. Business went great. Now I came to the US learning a different language and going to higher education. When I came to the US I felt awful because all my peers from high school went to register to a university and I didn't because I came to the US to learn English. That was rough and I was criticized again. I am done with my degree studying and practicing my way even though others still see me odd but I get the results I wanted. Bumps in the road? of course. I failed a few classes. I let myself for a but be driven by the masses and I got stressed out. Now I am working on my drive again to be bold and to not care about what others say. Wow this was longer than expected. Keep up the good work. I get inspired by how people have made their dreams come true.

Not sure why this video popped up, but I am absolutely loving his pragmatic wisdom, and down to earth nature. If he wasn't the founder of Amazon, I wonder how many folks would take time to listen to him? Anyone listening mainly to hear the "trick to get rich" is missing out on a lot!
