If he'd retired straight after winning the title from John Ruiz. His legacy would be held in even higher regard. But still a true legend. 5 time world champion. Across two weights. First man to become Undisputed cruiserweight champion, first to do that and go up and become a heavyweight champion, more over an undisputed heavyweight champion. First and only 4 time heavyweight champion. Truly great. Fought on too long. But despite that at 48 years old came very close to becoming the oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history when he lost a close decision to the giant Valuev. Would have been the oldest and first 5 time heavyweight champion. True legend. Pound for pound one of the very very best ever.
